I’ve worked in InfoSec for 10 years. Currently I work for the University of York where I am responsible for IT Security.
I’m also a member of the Honeynet Project and (for my sins) a CISSP. In a previous life I was a Mathematics researcher working on network dynamics both real world (roads) and internet traffic. Then I realised I was much better at this IT stuff than at maths, and moved over.
